Your Contact Information
Please notify us immediately if you change your address or phone number so that we can keep our records current.  I
t is very important that we know how to communicate with you in case of an emergency.  Please ensure that we have your work and home phone number and the number of someone to contact if we cannot locate you.  If you will be relocating to another county or state, please let us know ahead of time.

Family Participation
We would love for you to come participate in our school activities!  There are lots of opportunites to help out, such as:

Visitors
We welcome visitors to our campus!  We do ask that all of our visitors and volunteers register in the notebook located in the front lobby upon their arrival. Also, please wear a "visitor" or "volunteer" name tag while in the building, returning it to the box on your way out.

Volunteers
We encourage everyone in the Green Year Round community to volunteer.  WCPSS policy states that you must register ahead of time to be a volunteer.  Please come to the Library of our school to register.

Parent-Teacher Conferences
If you would like to meet with your child's teacher, please call us at 881-1390 or send in a note with your child.  Teachers ordinarily request two to three conferences a year.  During meetings, ask about how your child is doing in school and what you can do at home to help him or her be successful.

Greetings from Green
The weekly newsletter "Greetings of Green" is sent home with your child every Friday but you can also access the current issue of "Greetings from Green" and the GFG archives online.  Please read this publication for the latest news about upcoming events at our school.

Student Records
Parents or guardians have the right to see their child's school records.  If you are interested, please request them from our school counselor.  Students younger than eighteen may not see their records.

Comments & Concerns
A good school experience is based on the open communication and the confidence between the parents and educators.  If you have any concerns, please communicate them with us.  Ordinarily, the teacher is contacted first.  If after speaking with the teacher, the problem persists, please speak with the school principal.
