What are Footloose & Serendipity? Footloose & Serendipity are after school dance programs where students can further their education in the performing arts! Serendipity is a ballet group while Footloose focuses on tap and clogging. What do they do? Both groups have the opportunity to perform at school functions like the Fall Festival and the Winter Dinner & Faculty Talent Show. They also participate in community events like the Carolina Christmas Show and also host a winter and spring performance each year. |
|
When do they meet? Serendipity meets every Thursday afternoon from 2:30-5:00 and Footloose meets every Tuesday afternoon from 2:30-5:00. Both groups meet in the music room. How can I get involved? Applications are distributed to rising third, fourth and fifth grade students each May. Students are accepted to Serendipity or Footloose on a first come, first served basis. There is a fee for joining each group that pays for costuming and renting the school space for practice. Footloose costs $25 per month while Serendipity costs $35 per month.
