| When does GYR Drama Club meet?
Drama Club meets only in the winter to prepare for one big production.
Most practices are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30-3:45.
Actors attend practices only for the scenes that they are in.
How do you join Drama Club?
Fill out a permission form when it comes home in November or December.
Set Crew students may be in grades 2-5. Actors, dancers, and singers may
be in any grade. Tryout dates are before the winter holidays. To remain
in Drama Club, your behavior must be excellent.
What is the production for this year?
Adventures in Narnia will be performed
on February 22, 2008.
This play is based on The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis,
What do I need to know about tryouts for partst?
Tryouts will be on the following dates and times.
Track 1: Wednesday, November 28th 2:30-3:45
Track 2: Wednesday, December 12th 2:30-3:45
Track 3: Wednesday, December 5th 2:30-3:45
Track 4: Monday, December 10th 2:30-4:00

How can you rehearse if students are tracking in and out?
All students must agree to attend the final week of rehearsal. During
other weeks, if you are not out of town, you are expected to come to after-school
rehearsals even while tracked out. Carpools can be arranged. If your family
has an unusual circumstance, please contact Mrs. Kimsey before tryouts.
All actors must learn their parts over the winter holiday break.

How can I find out more about when a character is in a scene?
Once parts have been assigned, scripts will be given to characters.
