| Prohibited Items | ||
|   | All weapons, real or fake, are prohibited at school or on the school bus. Bringing any type of weapon to school will result in automatic suspension or expulsion. Weapons include:
In addition, students may not bring toys, radios, video games, chewing gum or anything else that is distracting to other students. These items are subject to seizure by any member of the faculty. |   |
| Consequences | ||
|   | Each teacher has their own set of rules and consequences if those rules are not followed. If a student continues to make poor choices, the teacher may send their student to an administrator (the assistant principal or principal). In more serious situations, such as fighting, verbal abuse or bringing weapons or drugs to school, the student may automatically be sent to an administrator. The following are consequences for being sent to an administrator:

| Suspensions | ||
|   | A student can be suspended or be expelled from school for certain offenses like bringing weapons, fighting, theft or destruction of property. A suspension can last from one day or until the end of the school year (expulsion). A student can be expelled if their presence in school constitutes a clear threat to the security and health of the others. |   |
| Dress Code | ||

Students are expected to dress in a manner that contributes to an effective learning environment. Wearing clothing that is disruptive, provocative, revealing, profane, vulgar, offensive or obscene, or that endangers the health or safety of the student or others is prohibited. Examples of prohibited dress or appearance include, but are not limited to:
If a student’s dress or appearance is such that it constitutes a threat to the health or safety of others, distracts the attention of other students or staff from their work, or otherwise violates this dress code, an administrator may require the student to change his or her dress or appearance. A second or repeated violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action. |
