Academically Gifted
The purpose of the AG program is to provide a challenging
educational program for students who perform at high levels of achievement.
In fourth and fifth grade, this course of study includes differentiation within
the regular education setting. Students identifies with a strong or very strong
need may receive services in resource classes. In third grade and Enrichment
plus / Explorers Model includes in-class and extension activities outside of
class. Aptitude and achievement tests will be administrated to all third graders
in the winter to use for AG screening. The AG teacher provides consultative
services to the K-2 teacher. Children are not formally identified.
